I was in the shop in April when a young lady came in with a bike. She requested for a new inner tube because it was flat. The shop owner asked if the bike has not being used for a long time. He explaint that it is normal the tube loses pressure as air escapes. He recommended just pumping up might be alright and proceed just to do that for her. I believe he is an experienced, honest and kind boss. Instead of buying online which was ￡1 cheaper, I bought a Raleigh Exhale from him after asking him what was a good bicycle pump for my Ribble racer.
Absolutely brilliant! ... over the years they have been very helpful in repairing and servicing a variety of not exactly mainstream stuff. A couple of touring bikes handmade by Lomas in the Cowley Road in Oxford in the early 1970s. A hardtail Marin mountain bike. A couple of weeks ago a couple of rear wheel steering bearings and a squeaking hydraulic disk brake on a Mountaintrike wheelchair. All fixed at very reasonable prices with appropriate affordable spares - even secondhand pedals. They are very helpful. You would be crazy not to give them a try.

Have used behind bars for many years, buying numerous bikes & taking them back 4 service work In my opinion they provide an excellent service at a wallet friendly price The staff are approachable, knowledgeable & r keen bikers themselves, so are able to give good honest advise on purchasing a bike, clothing, accessories or on service work 4 a bike. Free parking outside shop is normally available for easy drop off & collections What more could u ask for !
