Only got 4stars because we got woke up early with builders shouting and banging out side windows. Room nice and clean. Staff very helpful. Breakfast continental but did have all day bap or bacon roll you heat in microwave if you wanted it. If there's a next time i wont bother will just have cereal and fruit. Sleep wise bed was comfortable but weather made it difficult as it was hot. Would i stay again? Yes most definately hopefully the extention to hotel will all be done by then😁👍
Great service, lovely staff! Though the rooms are outdated and some of the rooms I've stayed in, the shower and WiFi was not so great. Although this hotel is currently being refurbished.

Very good bed and large room on ground floor as I avoid stairs and no lift is available in this smallish branch of Premier Inn.Staff were very helpful and friendly.Premises very clean.Conveniently situated in Abingdon close to Oxford but lots cheaper. Recommended.
Stayed here for two nights and initially I thought about giving this place 3 stars, this is due to the out dated rooms, however, it has to be said that the staff keep this place spotless and are exceptionally friendly, helpful and well presented. Despite being located on a busy main road, I never heard anything to keep me awake. With a reasonable pub/restaurant next door and lots of local shops, I had everything I needed nearby. I would recommend this place to stay, the rooms just need bringing up to date.

Very large bar, plenty of room for lots of people. Extremely large beer garden with a secondary bar on the outside. Prices are pretty average, not overly expensive but not the cheapest in Abingdon. Staff are friendly towards the visitors. I didn't eat there but the food smelt delicious, would be interested in trying food there. For a casual drink or a meal with family this is definitely the spot to go.
The perfect summer pub! The only reason it's not 5* is because it can be a bit pricey and the food could be a little better. But seriously, they're minor niggles, and the pub is fantastic. Try to catch the jazz (sorry, I don't know timings), it's really good. There's a pizza oven out the back, and a bar in the garden.

A nice pub with a great beer garden in the summer months to sit outside and enjoy this hot weather. Inside is bright, friendly and nice and clean.
Lovely friendly pub with good food and great beers. The garden is large and despite being by a main road is very enjoyable to sit in.

I stayed in the old dairy cottage and they have 3 cottages. It just was perfect for Monday to Friday as we were only staying for a short time in the October half term but the stairs were very narrow and it was quite hard to get my suitcase up the stairs and the ceiling was very low and the beams thatwere holding up the ceiling I kept banging my head on them.

Delightful staff, accommodation doesn't merit 4* rating. Insufficient storage - drawers stuffed with bedspreads, limited hanging space, heavy duvet on the bed despite heatwave. Contrary to welcome folder, B&B rooms were not serviced daily, wet towel and bathmat left on the floor to be exchanged were picked up, towel hung up, bathmat folded up on shelf, so wet when we went to use again. By chance, husband caught up with cleaner who advised that she had been told that our room & other family members' next door didn't need doing. He told her we needed clean towels, so that's what we got - no bathmat! Next door didn't get any service at all. Hospitality tray wasn't refreshed, had we used the crockery provided, there was no way we could have washed it so it would have been dirty for the next day. Cobwebs in the lampshades directly over the bed. The location is good for walking into Abingdon and there's plenty of parking.
Generally good, but two massive ‘downs’. First, when I arrived, the toilet had excrement in it. Disgusting. The staff told me there is a fault in the sewer system, something to do with back pressure causing next door’s doo-doos to come up in a neighbouring room. Not good enough. They were getting it sorted, but the room should have been checked before my arrival. And I got there saturated, soaked through to the skin, kit soaked. This was the only place I stayed in 9 nights away where there was literally nothing at all there to dry stuff out. No fan, no fan heater (except for one that set off all the fire alarms!!), nowhere warm to put my stuff to dry a bit overnight. So the next day I had to put on wet gear. I had the irritating response, “no one else has ever mentioned it”. And a suggestion (with my big backpack filled and reaching up to the back of my neck) that perhaps I should take more spares so I’d always be carrying dry kit. Nice people, but these two ‘downs’ were bad.

I stayed here for 6 weeks which is probably much longer than the duration that an average guest would stay here. Susie, the owner (and her husband Richard), do work hard for their B&B business. They have been quite helpful. I have no complaints, rather only the memories of their helpful manner. One piece of advice to those not aware of B&B businesses these days: B&B may or may not offer breakfast (even though the "Breakfast" term has been retained from the past). The B&B where I stayed before S. Howard B&B did actually serve breakfast, but it was 20 to 25% more expensive. By the way, there is a well maintained kitchen with free tea bags/coffee. Sincere wishes for a happy journey ahead!
It's a traditional cottage, nicely furnished with original pieces and abat jours creating a warm atmosphere. Clean and tidy.

Beautiful place. Immaculate rooms and a wonderful farm location. The breakfast was truly outstanding with local produce. Our host was extremely lovely. Highly recommend this BnB.
We had a very warm welcome. Our room was spacious and well appointed with a view over the garden and a large, very comfortable bed. The cooked breakfast was delicious, with locally sourced produce. The farm is set in beautiful countryside with walks mapped out in the information books in the rooms. We had a lovely leisurely stroll down to the Thames and the Brunel Bridge.
If you would like something truly different you might like to have a look at Airbnb. These are mostly B and Bs provided by people on a very informal basis. The may have a spare room, a yurt, a cottage or a barge with space they can receive guests for a night or a month! The website is highly professional. You can really see what you are going to get. Very well worth a look. Airbnb also show 'conventional' B&Bs as well. Enjoy!
